- May 20, 2014 You can now video chat while playing games on Xbox One. The system's Snap feature-which allows an app to be brought up on the right side of the screen while the remainder of the screen is used.
- Game streaming allows you to play Xbox One games remotely from your Xbox One console on any Windows 10 PC on your home network. You can also create and join a party and be able to chat with other players on the platform. This feature allows you to leave your living room and play your favorite Xbox One games anywhere with access to your home.
Microsoft's Xbox app has received an update on both Android and iOS. The update introduces a couple of important new features alongside bug fixes and performance improvements.
Talking about new features, with the latest update installed, you'll be able to send images or gif to your Xbox friends right from the app. You can also voice chat and invite your Xbox friends to join the conversation. I am NOT talking about xbox party chat (dont use it) / just in-game chat. I currently stream from my Xbox One X to my PC and use discord to chat with fellow streamers / friends while streaming. I would like to however chat with other gamers that are on my team (or in game) but not 100% sure how to follow through with this.

Xbox Game Chat On Pc
Apr 20, 2017 Open the Xbox application. Choose the Settings tab. Scroll down to Game chat transcription. To automatically transcribe other players' voices into text, check the box labeled Speech-to-text on. Once your Xbox friends list is open, you can double click on any name to open a chat window. From this chat window, you can start a voice call by clicking the headset icon. You can also add additional friends to the chat by clicking the plus (+) icon.
